So, you are considering creating your
own products, but want some help. You can be inspired by other similar
products on the market, though you cannot directly
copy them. You can buy the rights to other
people’s material, known in the trade as ‘PLR’.
These rights are sold,
sometimes even given away free, by the
creator of the product. The rights of what you can do
(and what you are NOT allowed
to do) are detailed in the licence.
In general, you can resell it without
changes. Alternatively, you can take the
product, rename it, identify yourself as author and change whatever you want
to change, then sell the new product.
The benefit is that
you can rebuild an
existing product, rather than starting from scratch
with nothing. There are an amazing number
of products with PLR rights
for sale for a few $ each
on sites like JVZoo.com and warriorplus.com. Quality varies of course, but your
purpose is to have a skeleton on which to build
the product you wish to offer.
You will rewrite and discard whatever
you choose. The PLR products include
ebooks,videos, audios, all of which you can
edit if the licence allows.
