2. Look around you. Take time to think
about your background,
your environment.
This is your setting.
You are the jewel, the background is
your velvet case.
As you look around,
think about this:
Does it add to the
essence you want to get across,
to the feel of your message?
Of you?
You want to be aligned, sending the
same message with your words and with
your look and your surroundings.
And be aware of everything.
Make sure
there isn’t an object behind you
sticking out of your head. (like a
tree, or a
lamp, or a photo of Grandma Sarah)
Nothing that will pull focus.
