Looking at the experts that
I follow in IM, they had a lot
in common, even before
they knew each other.
They started in IM from
1998 to 2005
and took 2-4 years until they were able
to have a profitable business.
All now are multimillionaires.
We have briefly looked at the careers
of 5 of the IM experts that I follow in developing my business:
John Thornhill, Michael Cheney,
Dean Holland, Omar Martin and Devon Brown.
They all faced serious financial
problems at a time that their day jobs were becoming increasingly
unsatisfactory. They had their faith in IM seriously
challenged as they labored long hours before the rewards were secured. Most worked alone with little
support and encouragement
from friends.
They knew of many who
started IM, either to make
no progress, or gave up.
While Michael, Omar and Devon
loved the limelight, John and Dean
were more reserved. All of them
had a drive to succeed that overcame the setbacks they faced. Whilst there was less competition
than today, their technology and infrastructure in (those distant days of) the 2000’s made
operations more difficult than today. All of them have developed
highly-successful training courses: ‘My students are my best affiliates,’
says John. They embrace IM changes, often
creating them. Dean and Michael built successful
businesses, thought they could run on autopilot, almost lost them
before fighting back to greater
success than before. All of them have built their own
products, make money also as affiliates, trainers and consultants.
They remain very ‘hands-on’ in their
businesses and will respond personally by email, or Skype.
