Ben:
I want to tell you why I stopped
selling T-shirts and other Physical
products a little over a year ago.
The Things that upset me about Selling
Physical Products
(continued):
5. The Ad Cost for Selling these
products made the
margins so razor thin
that the only way to make a decent
profit was to sell thousands of units
(not a terrible thing, but not something
I want to have to worry about every
week).
6.    I realized that the 90% of people
making the real money selling physical
products were all teaching courses
on
how to do it and building software to
help others do it (hmmmmm).
Full Disclosure:
This isn’t across true
across the board. I have some great
friends doing really well who only sell
physical products and don’t do anything
else.
7. I hated having to check my Facebook
Ads so often just to make sure
everything was ok.
If you’re having to sell thousands
of units a week to make
a profit, your ads can get out of
control fast if you aren’t right on top
of them.
8.THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE: I didn’t like
what my life had become. My schedule
and stress level was super high
when I
was doing this stuff.
It’s not that we weren’t making money,
it’s that I didn’t like what my life
looked like when I was
making money that way.
