Making serious money online can come
from high-ticket items, but may also come from subscriptions to blogs,
training and so on.
For most of us, this is not easy to
organize, but it is worth reading Randy Smith’s views to take advantage when opportunities arise: 5 top reasons why you need to add
some form of recurring income to
your business:

REASON #1: You’ve got bills to pay and
these are expenses which are coming out of your pocket every
month. Single item sales are good, but
it won’t guarantee that you’ll make the same volume of sales next month.
REASON #2: You need to free your time. Launching product after product and
promoting affiliate offers on a regular basis requires a TON of time and
effort. If you’re working a full-time
job, or simply don’t have knack for online marketing,
then you’ll need a membership to free up your time. REASON #3: You shouldn’t second-guess
when your next sale is coming. Making your first sale
is exciting, but questioning when the next one is coming and working hard to get new customers defies the
point of having an online business. It’s actually a job in disguise.
REASON #4: You need to build a
following of people who actually LOVE your content. If you’ve got members who are paying
you every month to access your site and are also hearing from you on a regular basis, then your email marketing campaigns are going to shoot through the roof. REASON #5: You won’t have the time or
energy to promote new products every day. Unless you’ve well versed with
HTML, graphics, content creation and video creation, and writing emails, it’s unlikely that
you’ll be able to promote new products on a daily basis.
A membership will remove
the need to do this altogether
