Dear {!firstname_fix},
Promoting high-ticket items
($100+) uses webinars frequently.
Your prospect needs to know,
like and trust you before giving
money over the internet. US seminars tend to be more slick
than those from the UK.
Expensive houses and cars, pools
and sales statistics start the US
webinars, appealing to greed
and establishing the presenter as
successful and a role model. UK viewers prefer a ‘softer’ sell.
Mostly, seminars have one presenter.
When there are two, there is more risk of technical problems, especially if the two are in different locations. (The webinar may not really be live, in
which case such problems can be edited out.) A webinar has advantages over a
video: the webinar appears to offer interaction via the ‘chatbox’.
The chatbox is used to keep attendees
awake, by ‘clicking 1 in the chatbox if you have had this experience’ and so on. The presenter has time control in
a webinar, the viewer when watching a video. You can see a video any time, but
many webinars indicate that they will be at a fixed time, with no repeat. You know the duration of a video.
The one-hour webinar will probably last 90 minutes. If you attempt to leave early, you
will be told that you may not be
able to rejoin, as others are
queuing up to join it. A good webinar will provide content
about the main issue for about 30 minutes, product details for 30 minutes and sales pitch,
testimonials, questions and
answers for 30 minutes. You can switch off when you wish.
The goal of the seminar is to sell you
something – this is IM business. Nevertheless, I have learned a lot
about IM from webinars. In some cases, the solution proposed (product being promoted) is too expensive for me. In this case, I ask around my
contacts for a cheaper alternative
which meets my needs.
My business may not need every
benefit of the featured product.
The road to running webinars
runs through making videos.
Videos are an essential tool for
IM when you have created
your own product, or before as
an affiliate (agent).
All of this may be outsourced,
but more and more products
can help you to do it yourself.
As cheaper products need sales
videos, high-ticket items need webinars to maximize sales. From yesterday, if you missed it:
I have assembled a $1,750 bonus
