Internet Marketing – SOS!

When we start our IM hobby, which we
plan to turn into a business,
most of us are overwhelmed by what we
need to learn and even how to
understand what is happening.

Soon, we find a lot of free help, for
which we happily sign up.

Though much of this material is
professional and could benefit us, we
do not have time to take it all in.

Our email inbox is swelling with unopened
offers which follow the free material.

Then, we start reading the offers and
watching the free webinars.

The products identify what we are

missing in IM and how to accelerate our
results, so we buy a few.

We read and watch one or two,

but the others remain unopened,

as we have just spotted
another must-see webinar about to
start.

As newbies, we cannot evaluate the
marketing hype that we ‘cannot survive’

without this new piece of kit,
so we buy it, afraid of missing
something.

Many purchases in IM (and in the
physical world) come from impulse.

When you go shopping,

do you buy products that
you had not planned to buy?

We are the latest victims of

having bought it, we do not use it.

We can have a refund, but the 30 days
soon run out without us even opening
it.
Is it all a scam?

says that it is a scam if nobody makes
any money from it. If you do not
profit, but others do, it is not a
scam.

Either you have not fully used it
(standard SOS behavior!), or it does
not fit in with your current business.

For example, you are concentrating on
selling books when you buy the latest
video editor, which needs video
production to support it.
