You may think that copywriting is just
a fancy word for sales letters, however it’s important to keep in mind that copywriting is used everywhere. Whether you’re building a list, selling
a product, offering incentives, recruiting affiliates, getting your idea across, even getting someone click a button, you need good copywriting. Copywriting has a direct impact on your
conversions. The higher your conversions, the more sales you’ll make. And the higher your sales, the
more traffic you can re-invest in. Common mistakes:
* Having long sentences in
your sales copy
* No strong call to action
(instruction to buy NOW) * Focusing on features instead of
benefits (how will it help the buyer?)
Creshenie
Today, the Russian Orthodox Church
celebrates Creshenie. Celebrants go to outside ponds and
go under the water 3 times and run off to put on warn clothes. The water temperature is close to zero,
but the temperature outside can be as low as -45 degrees
(Yakutsk, Eastern Siberia today) and is below zero throughout the country (-8 in Moscow, this morning). I had a similar, warmer, dip in
Omsk, Western Siberia,
a few years ago.
The water was a hot spring
(+35 degrees) but the run between the outside changing rooms and the spring was about
-15 degrees. Festive Russian greetings to you!
