Feedback from our customers and
prospects is
a critical element in our business.
Last week, we saw a hosting company
sending a survey to customers it had
lost.
The purpose was to win back its lost
business.
A passive way of learning customer
preferences is
split testing your offers.
For this, you need a responsive
customer list, which may
take some time to assemble,
so is rarely used by newbies.
You provide two versions of your
sales page, identical except
for one element: the test
element.
This could be a title, photo, video,
even the price
, that you wish to test.
When you have results of the first
test, you can then test another
element.
You want to know what
sells better.
You then use the winner
and scrap the loser.
Continuous testing separates the
professionals from the newbies.
