Internet Marketing – What is an autoresponder for?

Why you need an autoresponder for IM
An autoreponder manages your email
addresses and organizes your mailings.
Your email list is your most valuable
IM asset.
You need it to be in the hands of
professionals who have a backup copy
at all times.
AWeber, which I use, allows you to
download an esv backup file of your list
at any time.
Sending emails
Gmail shut down my account when I tried
to send 50 emails relating to my IFRS
books, without anybody contacting me, nor
replying to my letters to the company.
I have no idea who received my note and
what replies I cannot access.
Using AOL for the same purpose has seen
me periodically shut down, but normally
restored within a day.
If you are sending hundreds of emails,
you will spend most of the day sending
small batches, to escape the anti-spam rules.
In short, you need an autoresponder to
send bulk mailings.
People on your list have to opt in
before AWeber will allow you to mail them.
This is a simple, but mandatory
procedure.
Broadcasts
You can send a message to your list, or
to different lists that you have set
up, either immediately, or you can
schedule it to a future
time and/or date.
You can also set up a ‘follow up
series’ of emails to automatically
provide people on your list with emails
in a specific order, whenever
they join your list.
This automation allows you to run your
business virtually on autopilot.
Omar Martin is a virtuoso of the
autoresponder.
This is covered in depth in:
Omar’s IM Clinic
I mentioned Omar and Melinda Martin’s
excellent course of 4 2-hour webinars
and recommended that you will learn a
lot about IM just from the promotional
video (no commitment to buy):

4 hours’ of top content!)
