In Russia in the 1990’s, I learned
quickly that, if I saw a product I
wanted,  I should buy it immediately,
as later the product, and often the
vendor, would be gone.
(It is better now.)

You will learn a lot about IM just from
the promotional video (no commitment to
buy). I bought it.
Omar gives the example of TeleShops,
selling products one after another
on your TV, or computer. 
The presenter shows a limited number of
each product, with a counter showing
how many are left. 
As it counts down,
sales accelerate.
Viewers can feel a fear of loss
(time is running out). This is its
twin:
quantity is running out. 
S in FIGS is Scarcity
Applying it to IM is difficult, as
electronic products that we sell
can be reproduced practically without
limit. IM is a world of abundance.
An affiliate proclaiming that he/she
has agreed a discount
with the product creator for only 100
products, will not be believed.
